15 Years of Trial and Appeal Experience

Jess Johnson has 15 years of experience practicing criminal defense and civil litigation. He has represented clients in federal courts across the country at both the trial and appellate levels.

Jess has been selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine every year since 2012.  Less than 3% of lawyers receive such an honor. Jess holds bar licenses in  Georgia, Virginia, and Washington, D.C, and he is an active member of the Federal Bar Association.

Jess graduated first in his class from the University of Georgia in 2006. He then went on to attend the UGA School of Law where he graduated with distinction and was a member of the law school's mock trial team. After law school, Jess worked for, and eventually partnered with, Page Pate, who was widely regarded as one of the best trial lawyers in the country before his passing in 2022. Since then, Jess has operated his own firm, Jess Johnson Law.
